Prisoners in Himachal make masks

Prisoners in Himachal Pradesh have been making masks for the safety of people to prevent the coronavirus outbreak, officials said on Sunday.

Shimla, March 22 Prisoners in Himachal Pradesh have been making masks for the safety of people to prevent the coronavirus outbreak, officials said on Sunday.

The fabrication units at the Model Central Jails in Nahan and Kanda towns are engaged in making masks for the people, Director General of Police (Prisons and Correctional Services) Somesh Goyal told .

He said the staff and prisoners deserve accolade for rising up to this occasion of crisis to tackle coronavirus.
