Puducherry Directorate of School Education on Monday declared "All Pass" for all students of standard 1-9 in view of COVID-19. The Puducherry government, however, said, stress free assessment will be conducted for one day in last week of March. Schools in Puducherry will function till March 31 for classes 1-9 & summer vacation begins from April 1.

Puducherry reported 14 new coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours taking the overall tally to 40,044 on Monday, a senior official of the Department of Health and Family Welfare said.

Classes for 10, 11 & 12 standards alone will be conducted till the commencement of Public Examination in the respective regions as per the schedule of the respective Boards, announced the Government of Puducherry.

As far as 10 & 11 standards in Puducherry & Karaikal regions are concerned, students studying in schools affiliated to Tamil Nadu board are declared "All Pass" & the guidelines issued by Tamil Nadu board will be followed, said the notification Government of Puducherry.
