Rahul Gandhi, Congress leader and Leader of Opposition in Parliament (LoP), stopped his car in the middle of his journey from Delhi to Bhopal after noticing an accident near the road in the national capital on Tuesday, February 24.

Gandhi got down from his car to inquired bout the accident which led to injuries to the auto driver and another person. In a video shared by the news agency ANI, Gandhi was seen getting down and asking men with injuries to their hands and head. He not only consoled the driver but also instructed his team to ensure he received proper medical attention.

In a video that surfaced online, Rahul Gandhi can be heard saying, "Khalagi ha hai bhayya bataao." Then the man responds, "thodasa sir, haath main lagi hai." Checking on the other man's head, he insist him to go to the hospital for treatment for his head injuries. 

An injured person said he just got down from a train at 10 am and came out of the station to catch an auto. When I sat in the auto a car driver struck us from behind, leading serve injuries in hand and head.

When asked about what Rahul Gandhi inquired, he said, "He asked how I got hurt, so I explained to him... and he said go to the hospital and get treatment."

Meanwhile, Lok Sabha LOP, along with AICC president Mallikarjun Kharge, will visit Bhopal today to address farmer's convention. Congress is organising a huge farmers' rally to protest the recent India-US interim trade deal.

The decision to oppose the deal was taken at a meeting in the AICC office. On Thursday, the US Supreme Court struck down American President Donald Trump's tariff policy. Congress argued that, if PM Narendra Modi waited for 18 more days and did not accept the interim trade deal, Indian farmers' interests could be protected.
