BJP Rajya Sabha MP Subramanian Swamy feels their is a strong underworld links in the Sushant Singh Rajput case. Even former RAW officer N K Sood, in his recent statements have alleged that there might be a 'Dubai connection in 24-year old's mysterious death. Swamy, in his interview to Times Now, called out the Mumbai Police over its 'complicit' investigation, has and alleged that Sushant was 'murdered' in a 'professional manner'. Continuing further, he said the 'black money flow in Mumbai, Bollywood' is through the 'money launderers sitting in Dubai'

Meanwhile, NK Sood, former R&AW officer, has hinted at an "underworld link" to the death of 'Dil Bechara' actor. Sood said that criminals from underworld do their work with precision and try their best to divert attention. Swamy’s sensational claim came after the Supreme Court ordered a Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) probe into the Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case. The Rajya Sabha MP had on August 16 tweeted terming Sushant’s death as a murder. Sushant was found dead in his Mumbai residence on June 14. As per the Mumbai Police, the post-mortem report stated that the actor had committed suicide.However, Sushant's father KK Singh had on July 25 filed an FIR in Bihar, accusing six people, including Sushant's girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty, for abetment to suicide among other charges.
