Agra, Oct 25 The body of a woman with her throat slit, was found in her house in Agra's Mori village.

What made the incident seem mysterious was suicide note found in the room in which the woman allegedly claimed that she was ending her life.

A blood-stained knife was also found nearby.

According to the police, the suicide note read: “I, Meera, am giving up my life for my Govind. Gopal Krishna is my only worshipper. Now there is no attachment to this mortal body.''

Police have registered a case of murder but the mystery behind the death deepened after the recovery of the suicide note.

A police spokesman said that the police will decide on murder and suicide only after matching the handwriting.

The woman’s husband Harendra, resident of Mori village of Kirawali, drives a school bus.

He told reporters that he had returned home after taking vegetables from the market on Tuesday and he gave the vegetables to his eight-year-old son Dhruv.

When the child went in, he screamed seeing his mother lying in a pool of blood.

On getting information, Deputy Commissioner of Police (West) Sonam Kumar and Assistant Commissioner of Police Syed Arib Ahmed reached the spot and forensic science experts and dog squad were also called.

Police recovered a knife and suicide note from the spot. Deputy Commissioner of Police Sonam Kumar said that the suicide note will be sent to a handwriting expert.

It will be included in the analysis only after handwriting matching.

Currently the police are investigating both aspects of murder and suicide.

Meanwhile, Haripal Singh said that his sister Meera was married to Harendra 11 years ago.

He alleged that the sister was being harassed in her in-laws' house since marriage.

Based on his statement, the police have registered a case of murder against sister's husband Harendra, brother-in-law Omkar, Pappu, sister-in-law Lalitesh, Nemwati, father-in-law Diwan Singh and mother-in-law.
