Uttar Pradesh: Ayodhya-Bound Bus Carrying Pilgrims from Nepal Overturns Near Basti, Six Injured

In a tragic accident bus carrying 17 people from Nepal to Ayodhya for pilgrimage overturned near Basahwa in the Nagar area. According to initial reports this incident occurred after drive lost control over bus. Following which their was panic among the locals and the travelers. 

In this incident six people got injured and they were immediately taken to the district hospital. The condition of the pilgrims is reported to be stable.  The injured include Kimon, Ersa, and Balkrishna Suvedi, and Keshvi Suvedi, all from Simravar, Bara, Nepal; Kalpana Sharma of Pokhara, Nepal; and Tulsadi Paidol of Bharatpur, Nepal. Police used a crane to remove the bus and reopen the road.

Earlier, a road accident was narrowly avoided on Bhuntar–Manikaran route in Kullu district were a private bus carrying tourists lost control near Channi Khod in the Manikaran Valley but stopped at the roadside, preventing it from plunging into the Parvati River.

Fortunately all passengers traveling in the bus are reported safe,  though panic broke out inside the bus during the incident. The video of this incident has surfaced on social media creating concern about the safety of tourist traveling via private bus.
