The Paralympics Games will be held in Paris from today, August 28. The 2024 Paris Olympic Games were quite disappointing for the Indian side as athletes only managed to bring in six medals. Neeraj Chopra played the last game of the event, in which he won a silver medal in the men's javelin throw.
There are a total 84 para-athletes to participate from India at the Paris Paralympics Games 2024, which will take part across 12 sports in the French capital. High hopes from the people of the country as the Indian contingent did well in the Tokyo Paralympics by fetching 19 medals with 54 participants and the number increased this time. In the last edition, India had won 5 gold medals.
