19-year old Saurabh Chaudhary is India's biggest medal prospects in this year's Tokyo Olympics 2020. Saurabh is heading to Tokyo Olympics after having excelled in the major tournaments and is being regarded as one of the favourites to win a medal in the 10m air pistol event. Chaudhary made a memorable debut in the senior men’s 10m air pistol event, winning gold with a record score and with it, secured an Olympic quota for Indian shooters at Tokyo. In the 2018 Asian Games, Sourabh Chaudhary shot one of his first major records and in doing so be defeated the veteran Japanese shooter Tomoyuki Matsuda.

Born into a family of farmers, Saurabh Chaudhary took to shooting at the tender age of 14. A native of Uttar Pradesh’s Kalina, he used to travel 15 kilometres from his village every day for training. Saurabh won gold, silver, and bronze at the ISSF World Shooting Championships. He bagged another gold at the Argentina Youth Olympics.
