It can be transmitted via direct contact and exchange of bodily secretions; and has a fatality rate of 70 percent to 80 percent. 7 / 8The journal suggested that BV in monkeys might pose a potential threat to occupational workers.8 / 8 It is necessary to eliminate BV during the development of specific pathogen-free rhesus colonies and to strengthen surveillance in laboratory macaques and occupational workers in China. It was in late 2019 that the first case of Covid was detected in Wuhan, China. The virus soon spread like a wildfire. A number of countries are currently in the grip of the second and third wave.
