ATM Fraud: During transaction beware of online fraud follow these tips

Even in the age of digital banking, the number of cash transactions is huge. They use ATMs to withdraw cash deposited in the bank.

The number of crimes committed through ATMs is huge. Therefore, care must be taken while using ATMs.

Use ATMs in crowded places. More types of fraud occur in places that are less crowded.

Watch around when withdrawing cash from an ATM. Make sure no one is watching you.

Don't throw away the receipt you get when you withdraw cash from an ATM. The text on this receipt may be misused.

Always press Cancel Change when the transaction is complete. Make sure you take the card with you when you leave the ATM.

Use ATMs with CCTV cameras, security guards. Do not seek the help of a stranger when withdrawing cash.

Count the cash before you leave the ATM. Do not count cash in public places.

If you receive a message that cash has been withdrawn from your account, but no cash has been withdrawn from the ATM, report it to the bank immediately.

Don't tell anyone your PIN number. The bank never asks for your PIN number, password. So if you are asking through SMS, do not give any such information.
