How to download pollution under control certificate PUC online

It is necessary to carry the document with you while driving. If you do not have the required documents, you may face penal action. PUC is also one of the documents required for the vehicle. A car or bike driver is also required to have PUC with him at all times.

Motorcycle, car or scooter drivers do not have a valid PUC certificate (Pollution Under Control Certificate). Action can be taken against them. A fine of Rs 10,000 can be levied on drivers who do not have this certificate.

It shows the emission level of the vehicle. In simple words, it checks that your vehicle is not polluting more than the limit.

Apart from the license, insurance, and RC, if you don't have a PUC certificate while driving, you may have to pay a fine. Those traveling without a PUC in Delhi can also face a fine of Rs 10,000 or more.

Vehicle owners are given an easy option to download PUC online. For this first you have to go to the website of the transport service. There you will see a PUC option on the tab.

You will then be asked to enter the last five digits of your vehicle registration number and chassis number. Along with this, a captcha code has to be entered as well.

After submission, you will see the status of your PUC. Also if valid you can download PUC. If your PUC is available, you can also download and print it.

If, your car does not have PUC certificate, the process of getting it is very easy. For this, you have to take your car to the nearest petrol pump pollution inspection center i.e. PUC center. There the staff present at the center will check the vehicle.
