The age limit for taking this LIC policy is 30 to 79 years. There is no risk cover in this scheme, but these benefits give you a safe investment. The company has given two options to get this LIC plan. The first of these options is Deferred Annuity for Single premium plan.

New Jeevan Shanti Yojana of LIC is an annual plan, you can get a fixed pension in this. After retirement you will continue to get a fixed pension for life. You also get good interest on this. If you purchase this plan at age 55 and accumulate Rs.11 lakhs. So if you want a monthly pension of Rs 1 lakh, you will have to invest Rs 1 crore for 12 years. After 12 years, you will get a salary of Rs 1.06 lakh per month. If you want to invest for just 10 years, you will get a monthly pension of Rs 94,840 per month as pension after maturity.

If you think you just need a monthly pension of Rs 50000, you need to invest only Rs 50 lakh. If you invest for 12 years, you will get a monthly salary of Rs 53,460 per month.
