Rajasthan: Husband becomes brother of his wife, get her married to another man for money

In Kota, Rajasthan, a man became brother of his own wife for money and got her married to another man. The victim lodged a complaint with the police against the woman, her husband and the mediator. Police then arrested the accused on a fraud charge.

The incident took place in the Kunhadi police station area of Kota. A young man named Ravi Kali was not getting married. His relative told him that a man named Devraj would arrange his marriage.

After this, Ravi met Devraj and discussed about marriage. He said that his relatives live in Indore. There he will arrange for his marriage. For this, Devraj demanded 1 lakh 80 thousand rupees. For which Ravi was also agreed.

Later, Devraj arranged Ravi's marriage with a girl named Komal in Indore and took Rs 1 lakh 80 thousand. After the wedding, Ravi came home with his wife. Ravi's wife Komal expressed her desire to meet her brother Sonu in two days. After which Ravi called her brother.

Upon reaching Ravi's house, Sonu said that she is his wife and she is already married. Not only that, he also said that she is the mother of his children. Hearing this, Ravi realized that he had been deceived.

Ravi went to the police and lodged a complaint against Devraj, his wife Komal and her alleged brother Sonu. Ravi was shocked when the police inquired and understood what had come to light. Sonu, whom he considered his wife's brother, was actually Komal's husband.

The police investigation revealed that Devraj along with Komal and Sonu had planned to cheat Ravi. For this reason, Komal's husband became her brother and he hot her married to Ravi. He took money in return.

Police arrested all three accused on fraud charges and sent them to jail. Police are also conducting further investigations.
