Two children from Rajasthan pen 2,100 pages of Ramayana during COVID-19 lockdown

The lockdown was announced worldwide due to the outbreak of the corona virus. So everyone had no choice but to stay at home. During this period, most of the people in India started watching Ramayana and Mahabharata on television.

Madhav Joshi and his sister Archana Joshi, who are studying in 3rd and 4th class in Jalair, Rajasthan, have written more than 2100 pages of Ramayana during the lockdown.

The siblings have written the entire Ramayana on paper with pen. 20 books were needed for this. After using these books, Ramayana was written on more than 2100 pages.

Both the children have completed writing Ramayana in seven parts. Shri Ramcharitramanas is in seven parts. Madhav and Archana cover these seven areas as Childhood, Ayodhya, Aranya, Kishkindha, Sundar, Lanka and Uttar Ramayana.

In it, Madhava has written about childhood, Ayodhya, Aranya and Uttarkand in 14 parts. The younger sister Archana has written about Kishkindha, Sundar and Lanka in 6 parts. Madhav said that he wanted to read Ramayana after seeing it being aired on Doordarshan during the Coronation period.
