Convert an old DL to a smart Driving license; Cost only Rs.200, simple process at RTO

Smart Driving License: If you still have an old notebook like a driving license which is not easy to carry then here is a new solution for you the authorities have launched the new driving license smart DL, you can easily convert this DL into Smart DL. By following these procedures.

The Smart Driving License also stores the biometric data of the licensee, fingerprints, blood group, retina, etc. And this data is taken from the system at the time of making DL.

These Smart DL are durable and easy to carry, If anyone wants to change their DL into Smart DLs they can go to the RTO office or else can visit the RTO website.

You will have to submit the required documents as well as biometric to get a new card after the payment you can get your card.

To apply, you need to go to the State Department of Transportation's website. After that download the DL application. Fill in the form and attach Xerox of required documents.

This application should be submitted by going to RTO. Schedule a driving test by paying the fee. Once your driving test is clear, your biometrics will be taken. Once this is done, your smart driving license will be sent to your address within a month.

You will have to pay a fee of Rs 200 while applying for a smart driving license. More if there is an agent. When you go to the RTO office, you are given information on how to apply outside. You can apply yourself without an agent.

A smart driving license expires at the age of 50 or 20 years after the license is issued. After that, you have to get the license again.
