Reliance Jio soon to launch Fiber in coming months

Reliance Industries had introduced the Jio AirFiber service at the AGM held last year. As the name suggests, this service will provide fiber-like facilities to users wirelessly. For this, the company will use 5G antenna. Users can get up to 1Gbps on Jio AirFiber.

However, the official launch date of this service has not been announced. If some reports that surfaced are to be believed, the company may launch this service soon. This service is likely to start in a month or two. Let's know some special things about Jio AirFiber.

According to some reports, this service of Jio may start in June or July. A video of this has also surfaced on YouTube.

It shows unboxing and installation of Jio AirFiber. The company has been testing this service under a pilot project for some time.

Both models are shown in the video. Jio AirFiber comes with a WiFi router, in which one will act as an antenna while the other will act as an extender.

You will need to place one of these routers on your roof or any other high place. So you have to keep the second router inside the house.

After the hardware process is complete, you need to complete the installation by adding a network connection. For this, you first need to insert Jio 5G SIM into AirFiber and then download Jio Home app. After this, you have to connect to the Jio Fiber router.

Apart from wireless connectivity, users will get a USB port, a LAN and a WAN port in the Jio AirFiber. If users want, they can connect the set-top box to Jio AirFiber. This procedure is for the standard variant. More information about the portable variant has surfaced.
