The White House, a workplace of the US President, has posted two strange videos on its official Elon Musk-Owned X handle, which has created stir and confusion on the internet. Netizens are eager to know what exactly the shared clips are about. Some suspect whether the X (formerly Twitter) account of the White House has been hacked. Some say what hint is the President giving to its citizens, while others say it was accidentally shared videos.
In the latest 0.4-second video post by the White House on X, there is a completely black screen - no visuals, no text, no subtitles. The audio of the video can be heard as a message alert tune 'ding' of the iPhone.
The second short cryptic video was posted at around 10 am EST (US local time). In which an American flag was visible in one frame. The post had caption emojis of a smartphone and sound.
Another blur and strange 0.4-second clip, which was shared by the White House, which was viewed by 1.1 million users on X, shows a shiny woman's shoe, and the audio says something about "it's launching soon, right?" However, no clear speech is visible.
According to the CNBC, the first Video was posted by the White House at 9.15 pm EST (US local time), which appeared to be recorded on a smartphone, with the camera pointing at some woman’s feet and a line of text on the screen says “sound on.” The video was later deleted from the White House’s accounts on X and Instagram roughly 90 minutes after it was posted.
One Instagram user shared the video and said, "Strange video posted earlier by the White House on X, possibly accidentally, in which a female individual, potentially Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt, can be heard saying, 'It’s launching soon right?”
What Does the AI Assistant Grok Chat Bot Say About Videos?
A user asked Elon Musk-owned AI chatbot Grok about the clip of a woman shared by White House. The Grok got confused and said "bullet noses" to the woman's shoe points.
“It's a 4-second shaky, blurry handheld clip in low light from the White House account. Shows close-ups of two shiny conical metallic tips (look like bullet noses) on a patterned surface, one held nearby, with "sound on" text overlaid. No clear speech visible—audio is likely the point,” Grok responded.
While the X user corrected the AI assistant. @grok Those ‘bullet noses’ are a woman's shoes and the audio says something about ‘it's launching soon, right?’
While on the latest clip shared by the White House, Grok stated its “3.7-second” video, while the video's actual clip timing is 0.4 seconds.
Grok in response to a user query on the shared clip by the White House: “The video is a 3.7-second completely black screen—no visuals, no text, no subtitles. If there's audio hidden in the 🔉, it's not detectable here (no spoken words or captions). Probably just pure darkness... or a stealthy "nothing to see here" vibe from the White House. What do you hear when you play it?”
Meanwhile, the two cryptic videos posted by the White House have now been deleted. However, no official statement from the White House or any other US official regarding the strange posts on the social media platform X.
