New Delhi, Oct 12 The Lenovo-owned brand Motorola on Tuesday launched the Moto E40 in the Indian market. The smartphone comes with a punch hole HD+ display with a screen refresh rate of 90 Hz, a triple camera setup which includes a 48MP primary camera sensor.

Priced at Rs 9,499 for the sole 4GB + 64GB version, the phone will be available via Flipkart starting October 17. It comes in carbon gray and pink clay colours.

Moto E40 features a 6.5-inch Max Vision HD+ LCD display with a 90Hz refresh rate and up to 400 nits of brightness.

Under the hood, the smartphone packs the Unisoc T700 octa-core chipset clocked at up to 1.8GHz coupled with 4GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 64GB of internal storage in the device. One can expand the storage up to 1TB with the help of a microSD card.

In terms of optics, the Moto E40 sports a triple-camera setup. There will be a 48MP primary camera, a 2MP macro lens, and a 2MP depth camera.

The phone features an 8MP selfie camera. It also features a rear-facing fingerprint scanner. As for the software, the device runs Android 11 out of the box with no ads and bloatware.

The smartphone also has a dedicated Google Assistant key at the right side. Connectivity features include dual SIM support, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, a USB-C port, a 3.5mm audio jack.

The device packs a 5000 mah battery that offers a backup of up to 40 hours, the brand claims.
