1 killed another injured in accident

Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar: A 20-year-old youth was killed while another was injured when their two-motorcycle was hit by a speeding truck at Sajapur Square in Waluj on Sunday.

The deceased has been identified as Vishal Narayan Waman (Pimplagoan, Sillod) while the name of the injured is Ramu Namdeo Mangate (48, Selgaon, Sillod).

According to police, the accident took place when the truck hit a two-wheeler. Both the riders-Vishal and Ramu were returning home from a company.

After the accident, the residents of the area rushed them to Government Medical College and Hospital GMCH) where doctors declared Vishal dead. Ramu is undergoing treatment at the GMCH.

MIDC Waluj Police has taken note of the case. Head constable Taru is on the case.

Another case of accident took place on the same road this afternoon. A rider was injured after a truck hit his vehicle. He was rushed to a Government hospital by ambulance.
