Aurangabad, Jan 6:

The Aurangabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) has detected 11 teachers and non-teaching personnel as Covid-19 positives, so far. Through 16 centres in the city, the AMC conducted RT-PCR tests of 3,360 teachers and others from December 28, 2020 to January 6, 2021.

It may be noted that acting upon the state government''s order, the schools and junior colleges situated in the city limits, had started conducting classes of standard IXth to XIIth from this Monday. There are 268 schools running secondary classes in the city limits. It is mandatory upon each teacher and other school staff to undergo RT-PCR test to ensure they are safe from the Coronavirus infection.
