12.6 K candidates to take CTET at 28 centres
Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will conduct the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) at 28 centres in the district on February 7 and 8. A total of 12,660 candidates have registered in the district for the eligibility test, which will be held in two sessions. Those teachers who will appear for the test were exempted from election duty. The number of such teachers is 2500. The CBSE has also sent 28 observers to monitor the examination here.
CTET coordinator and Principal of Nath Valley School, Dr Swarup Dutta, said that the preparations were completed for the eligibility test in the city.

Schedule for papers I and II
The 21st edition of CTET will be conducted on February 7 and 8. The schedule for the first and second papers is as follows;

Paper II—February 7-- 9.30 am-12 noon
Paper-I-- February 7–2.30 pm to 5 pm
Paper II—February 8--9.30 am-12 noon
Paper-I-- February 8--2.30 pm to 5 pm

--The candidates are also advised to reach at the allotted examination centre quite before the commencement of the examination.
--No candidate will be allowed to enter the examination centre after the start of the examination.
--There will be a separate question paper in large font for visually impaired candidates.
-- The differently-abled candidates should bring with them the disability certificate in the proper format issued by the Competent Authority

Pattern of test
--All questions in a paper will have Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs), with four alternatives out of which one answer will be most appropriate.
--There will be 150 questions
--Each carrying one mark.
--There will be no negative marking.
--There will be 20 languages in the examination, including Hindi, Marathi, English and Urdu
