The state government for the benefit of the poor people has changed some rules for construction of buildings. Accordingly, 70 metres building which is up to 23 stories can constructed in the city in the near future. Similarly, there is no need to take permission from the municipal corporation for the construction of 150 sq feet construction, informed the state urban development director Sudhakar Nangnure in a workshop organized by Confederation of Real Estate Developers Associations of India (CREDAI) here on Monday.
An integrated development control and promotions rules prepared by the urban development department have been implemented by the government from December 3, 2020. Hence, with the aim to know the provisions in the rules, the workshop for officers, architects and engineers was organized by CREDAI and Aurangabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) at Rukhimini Hall at MGM Campus on Monday. Director Nangnure guided the audience about the rules in detail and also pacified their queries.
The rules also have the provision to get the construction within 10 days for the construction between 150 sq mts and 300 sq mts. If the apartment is constructed in the area of 30 to 50 sq mts and then the permission will be granted according to the width of the road. The allotment will be done after paying potential 5 percent of the addition of the basic FSI, Premium FSI and TDR. It will help the middle class residents to get the houses in affordable prices. Similarly, 4 carpet area index has been allotted for the slum rehabilitation.
Moreover, there will be no limits for the height of the buildings at Mumbai, Pune, Pimpri-Chinchwad, Nagpur and Nashik. However, the limits of the building in Aurangabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) jurisdiction will be 70 metres (23 floors). This limit will be 50 metres in municipal council, nagar panchayat and regional schemes areas.
MIDC chief planner Shrirang Landge, joint director Avinash Patil, Sunil Marle, Sulekha Vaijapurkar, Sumesh Kharwadkar, AMC city engineer Sakharam Panzade, CREDAI officials Rajendrasingh Jabinda, Narendrasingh Jabinda, Ravi Vattamwar, Pramod Khairnar, Sunil Bedmutha, Nitin Bagadiya, Vikas Chaudhary, Bhaskar Chaudhary, Sangram Pathade, Ashutosh Navandar, Anil Munot, Devanand Kotgire, Akhil Khan and others were present.
