In all, 27,043 residents are home quarantined in the Marathwada division presently, informed the divisional administration. These included 6643 in Aurangabad, 18200 in Beed and 719 in Hingoli districts. In other district, the residents are quarantined between 100 to 500.

However, the institutional quarantine facilities which were reducing in all districts in Marathwada division but it is increasing now. Four months back, there were one lakh residents were in institutional quarantine which were 1008 on December 6, 4,841 on December 13, which means that there was an increase of 99 percent during this period. The institutional quarantine is increasing in Nanded, Parbhani and Hingoli districts.
