Aurangabad, Oct 20:

The administration of Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University (Bamu) transferred 31 officers and employees.

It may be noted that an employee working at one place for more than threes should be transferred as per the norms.

However, certain employees with the support of union were working at one place for a long time.

The administration received complaints about it. Vice-chancellor Dr Pramod Yeole took a review of the employees of all departments.

After the orders of the VC, registrar Dr Jaishree Suryavanshi transferred 21 permanent employees and ten hired through contractor.

Dr Jaishree Suryavanshi said that the transfers of the employees were delayed due to the spread of Novel coronavirus. She said that 31 employees were transferred in the first phase while the transfers in the second phase would be done soon.
