Aurangabad, Jan 9:

In all, 40 new Corona suspects found positive on Saturday. The total number of patients in the district reached 46199 now, of which, 44570 recovered, 1214 died while 415 are being treated, informed the district administration.

Patients found in the city are from, Kaushalnagar, N-6 Shivjyoti Colony, Mayurban Colony, Bajrangnagar Chikalthana, N-2 Cidco, Jaibhavaninagar, N-6 Avishkar Colony, Kiradpura, N-5 Parijatnagar, Mayur Park, Kanchanwadi, Adarsh Colony, MGM area, Radhakrishna Residency Mitmitta, Delhi Gate, Bansilalnagar, Jainagar Osmanpura, Saketnagar, Begumpura, Gajanan Chowk N-6, PSBA English School (One each).

N-9 Shivajinagar, Jawahar Colony, Jyotinagar, Others (Two each).

Shreyanagar – 3, Samarthnagar – 4.

Patients found in the rural areas are from, Paithan, Sillod (One each). Others – 2.

2 die; total deaths: 1214

A 67 years old woman from Khuldabad died at the Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH). A 63 years old man from Jawahar Colony died at a private hospital. The total deaths in the district reached 1214 now.

Meanwhile, 86 patients including 77 from the city and 9 from the rural areas recovered and were given discharge on Saturday. The total number of patients recovered in the district reached 44570 now while 415 are being treated.
