Accused in Ashish Salve murder case gets bail

Aurangabad, May 29:

Ashish Sanjay Salve was murdered during the procession organized to mark Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar birth anniversary on April 14, 2018. The session judge, A A Kulkarni granted conditional bail to the third accused in the murder case Nayan Shailendra Jadhav on the personal bond of Rs 25,000.

The conditions stated that the accused Nayan, after getting bail should immediately get out of the borders of the Aurangabad tehsil, he should not come here until the hearing of the case is over. He should be present only during the hearing. He should not destroy any evidence and should not pressurize the witnesses.

Ashish Salve was murdered near the stage established near the statue of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj at Kranti Chowk. Kunal Gautam Jadhav and Avinash Gautam Jadhav were arrested in this connection. However, the third accused Nayan Jadhav was at large for the past three years. He was arrested by the Kranti Chowk police on February 1, 2021.

Case was registered against Kunal and Avinash on the complaint lodged by Ashish’s brother Sachin Salve. Later, Nayan’s name was included on the statements given by some witnesses during investigation. Nayan had applied for bail through Adv Kartik R Sharma.
