Admission process for Santpith courses begins

Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar: The admission process for the new session of various certificate courses for the academic year 2025-26 has started in Santpith (Paithan), run by Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University. Santpith Director Dr Pravin Wakte said that the information about this admission was released on the university website.

The duration of the five courses in Santpith, namely Shri Tukaram Gatha Granth Parichay, Shri Eknathi Bhagwat Granth Parichay, Shri Dnyaneshwari Granth Parichay, Warkari Sampraday Parichay and Mahanubhav Sampraday Parichay, is six months and the total marks for each course are 400.

The minimum educational qualification is 10th pass (secondary examination). The fee for each course has been fixed at Rs 1,000. These courses are taught offline and online. A total of 75 per cent attendance of the admitted students will be mandatory.

The intake capacity in the regular mode will be 20 students, while in the virtual mode, there will be a maximum of 50 students. Director Dr Wakte has also clarified that admission would be given to only one certificate course at a time in one academic year.
