Agitations, rasta roko, auto strike to mark Bharat Bandh

Aurangabad, Dec 7:

The Kendriya Kisan Samanvay Samiti and Zilla Kamgar Karmachari Sanyukt Kruti Samiti will be staging a rasta roko at Delhi Gate tomorrow at 11 am. The agitation is a part of the national bandh called to extend support to the farmers who are agitating in Delhi. Meanwhile, the Kruti Samiti officials have appealed to the business fraternity to participate in the agitation by closing their establishments on Tuesday.

The agitation will be participated by Akhil Bhartiya Kisan Sabha, Community Party of India, Swaraj Abhiyan, Aam Aadmi Party, CPI-M, ITUC, CITU, Shramik Muktidal, Hind Mazdoor Sabha, Videocon Groups Employees Union, Bhimshakti Rojandari Karmachari Sanghatna, Maharashtra Kamgar Karmachari Sanghatna, Shahid Bhagat Singh Hawkers union and many other labour organisations.

Meanwhile, Adv Abhay Taksal has informed that the office-bearers of Kamgar Karmachari Sanyukt Kruti Samiti Ram Baheti and Subhash Lomte have appealed to the residents of the district to participate in the bandh and keep their establishments closed for a day. The rasta roko will be conducted in every district, while the tehsil place will witness demonstrations in front of tehsil office, while the demonstration will be conducted in front of each gram panchayat office in the village.

The All India Lawyers union (AILU) has also extended their support to the bandh called by farmers. AILU president (Maharashtra Chapter) Adv Babasaheb Wavalkar and secretary Chandrakant Bhojgar said that the farmers are compelled to come on the road due to non-cooperation policy of the union government towards the demands of the farmers.

Meanwhile, the auto-rickshaw unions have also declared their support to the bandh. There will be no rickshaws on the road from 10 am to 5 pm tomorrow. The announcement was made by Lal Bawta Rickshaw Chalak Kamgar union and Sanyukt Rickshaw Chalak Kruti Samiti, stated the press release issued by Com. Buddhinath Baral and Nisar Ahmed.
