Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar addressed a crucial issue concerning farmers, highlighting the risks they face while watering crops at night. With the threat of wild animals and other dangers, Pawar assured that farmers would soon be provided with daytime lighting, enabling them to stay home during the night while tending to their crops.
The statement was made at the ‘Dialogue with Entrepreneurs’ event organized by the Marathwada Association of Small Scale Industries and Agriculture (Massia) in Waluj on Sunday afternoon. Ajit Pawar, the chief guest at the event, engaged in positive discussions to address the challenges faced by micro, small, and medium entrepreneurs. Notable attendees included MLAs Satish Chavan and Vikram Kale, CP Pravin Pawar, DCP Nitin Bagate, Abhijit Deshmukh, and Massia President Arjun Gaikwad.
During the event, Arjun Gaikwad presented several key demands from the Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar industrial area, such as requesting government funding for the Advantage Maharashtra Expo 2026, establishing a GST Tribunal Office in the region, allocating reserved funds for MSMEs, and improving infrastructure like highways, expressways, and CCTV security.
Ajit Pawar assured that all demands would be addressed promptly and wished success for the Advantage Maharashtra Expo 2026. He also promised to push forward the proposal for a separate police station in Waluj and directed stringent action against extortionists using laws like MCOCA. The event also saw the presence of former Massia President Bharat Motinge, Balaji Shinde, Sunil Kirdak, Kiran Jagtap, Anil Patil, Chetan Raut, vice-President Rahul Mogle, joint secretary Ramakant Pulkundwar, treasurer Sargerav Salunke, Rajesh Vidhate, Rajendra Choudhary, Sharad Chopade, along with a large number of entrepreneurs. The event was anchored by Sachin Gayke, and Dilip Choudhary gave the vote of thanks.
