Aurangabad, Feb 23: Senior Indian Information Service officer Santosh Ajmera has been appointed as the director at the Election Commission of India, New Delhi. Ajmera, a 2008 batch officer, is presently working as the chief of Regional Outreach Bureau (RoB) of Maharashtra and Goa. He worked for creating awareness and extending benefits of various government schemes like Swachhata Abhiyan, Jalshakti Abhiyan, Atmanirbhar Bharat, Digital India, Corona Vaccination to the last section of the society. He has worked as the Officer on Special Duty for the prestigious National Film Heritage Mission, Pune. Hailing from Marathwada, Ajmera has authored seven books.
