Aurangabad, Feb 10:
The special task force of Aurangabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) today sealed one property and recovered property tax around Rs 4.49 lakh from Zone Numbers 5,6 and 8.
To recover the property tax outstanding, the civic team (in Zone No-5) collected a cheque of Rs 2.79 lakh from Ushabai Landage of Ganesh Housing Society and Rs 30,000 from Anna Gajare of Chaudhary Colony.
The AMC personnel collected a cheque of Rs 1 lakh from Hotel Chul (in Zone No-6), and Rs 40,000 from Tirupati Horizon (Kanchanwadi) in Zone No- 8.
One shop sealed
The civic personnel sealed one shop Sakshi Pride, situated at Nakshatrawadi on Paithan Road, when it failed to deposit property tax dues of Rs 2.22 lakh. The action was taken under the guidance of the head of special task force, Aparna Thete.
