AMC detects 24 COVID patients on Friday

Aurangabad, Dec 11:

The Aurangabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) health officials conducted 252 antigen and 769 RT-PCR tests (total 1021 tests) at its COVID Care Centres (CCCs) and different places in the city and traced 21 Covid-19 patients today. Meanwhile, health officials detected three air passengers as Coronavirus infected in RT-PCR test drive conducted at the Chikalthana Airport on Thursday.

The health teams conducted 43 antigen tests at the CCCs and found three Covid-19 patients (including one from the area out of the AMC limit). The AMC personnel also held 199 RT-PCR tests.

Meanwhile, the Special Task Force, by visiting different parts of the city, conducted 166 antigen tests and detected 13 Covid-19 patients, apart from 503 RT-PCR tests on suspects.

According to AMC data, District Civil Hospital conducted three and private laboratories conducted 65 RT-PCR tests today. Meanwhile, the private laboratories also conducted 43 antigen tests and found five Covid-19 patients (including three from areas out of the AMC limit). The AMC will receive the reports of all RT-PCR tests tomorrow.

Three air passengers found infected

These air passenger, who had arrived in the city on Thursday, have been reported as Covid-19 positive today. The civic health teams had conducted RT-PCR tests of 40 passengers arriving at the airport from Delhi-bound planes, on December 10. The report of the health section confirmed that three air passengers are Coronavirus infected today.

Meanwhile, the AMC health teams have conducted RT-PCR tests of 187 persons arriving in the city by Sachkhand Express and 49 tests on air passengers at the airport, today (December 11). The administration will receive their reports by tomorrow.
