Aurangabad, May 22:

The Aurangabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) health officials conducted 2,994 antigens and 1,036 RT-PCR tests (total of 4,030 tests) at its COVID Care Centres (CCCs) and different places in the city and traced 33 Covid-19 patients today.

The health teams conducted 45 antigen tests at the CCCs and detected four persons as infected. The AMC personnel also held 253 RT-PCR tests at the CCCs. Meanwhile, by visiting different parts of the city, the mobile teams have conducted 2,889 antigen tests and detected 28 Coronavirus-infected persons. They also collected swab samples of 643 suspects for RT-PCR tests.

According to AMC data, the Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) has conducted 39 RT-PCR tests, District Civil Hospital - 12 and private laboratories - 89 on Saturday. Meanwhile, the private laboratories conducted 60 antigen tests and found one infected patient. The AMC will be receiving the reports of all RT-PCR tests tomorrow.
