Aurangabad, Oct 23:

The Aurangabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) health officials conducted 397 antigens and 404 RT-PCR tests (total 801 tests) at its COVID Care Centres (CCCs) and different places in the city and detected 33 Covid-19 patients today.

The health teams conducted 120 antigen tests at the CCCs and found 10 Covid-19 patients (including three from areas out of AMC limit). The AMC personnel also held RT-PCR tests of 109 suspects.

Meanwhile, the Special Task Force, by visiting different parts of the city, conducted 202 antigens tests and detected 18 Covid-19 patients, apart from 168 RT-PCR tests on suspects.

According to AMC data, GMCH conducted 29 RT-PCR tests and 98 by private laboratories. Meanwhile, the private laboratories also conducted 75 antigens tests and detected five Covid-19 patients (including two from the areas out of the AMC limits), it stated. The AMC will receive the report of all RT-PCR tests tomorrow.
