Aurangabad, Feb 17:

The Aurangabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) health officials conducted 473 antigen and 1064 RT-PCR tests (total 1537 tests) at its COVID Care Centres (CCCs) and different places in the city and traced 46 Covid-19 patients today.

The health teams conducted 270 antigen tests at the CCCs and detected five persons as infected. The AMC personnel also held 227 RT-PCR tests at the CCCs. Meanwhile, by visiting different parts of the city, the mobile teams have conducted 148 antigen tests and detected 38 infected persons. It also collected swab collection of 730 suspects for RT-PCR tests.

According to AMC data, the GMCH conducted 15 RT-PCR tests, and private laboratories performed 92 on Wednesday. The private laboratories also conducted 55 antigen tests and found three infected patients. The AMC will be receiving the reports of all RT-PCR tests tomorrow.
