AMC detects 56 COVID patients in city

Aurangabad, Feb 20:

The Aurangabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) health officials conducted 213 antigen and 1102 RT-PCR tests (total 1315 tests) at its COVID Care Centres (CCCs) and different places in the city and traced 56 Covid-19 patients today.

The health teams conducted 45 antigen tests at the CCCs and detected six persons as infected. The AMC personnel also held 323 RT-PCR tests at the CCCs. Meanwhile, by visiting different parts of the city, the mobile teams have conducted 165 antigen tests and detected 48 infected persons. It also collected swab collection of 739 suspects for RT-PCR tests.

According to AMC data, the GMCH conducted 18 RT-PCR tests, and private laboratories performed 22 on Saturday. The private laboratories also conducted three antigen tests and found two infected patients. The AMC will be receiving the reports of all RT-PCR tests tomorrow.
