Aurangabad, Feb 22:

The Aurangabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) health officials conducted 358 antigen and 1115 RT-PCR tests (total 1473 tests) at its COVID Care Centres (CCCs) and different places in the city and traced 58 Covid-19 patients today.

The health teams conducted 106 antigen tests at the CCCs and detected nine persons as infected. The AMC personnel also held 271 RT-PCR tests at the CCCs. Meanwhile, by visiting different parts of the city, the mobile teams have conducted 230 antigen tests and detected 44 infected persons. It also collected swabs of 669 suspects for RT-PCR tests.

According to AMC data, the GMCH conducted 22 RT-PCR tests, and private laboratories performed 153 on Monday. The private laboratories also conducted 22 antigen tests and found five infected patients. The AMC will be receiving the reports of all RT-PCR tests tomorrow.
