Aurangabad, Oct 20:

The Aurangabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) health officials conducted 435 antigens and 273 RT-PCR tests (total 708 tests) at its COVID Care Centres (CCCs) and different places in the city and detected 67 Covid-19 patients today.

The health teams conducted 132 antigen tests at the CCCs and found 12 Covid-19 patients. The AMC personnel also held RT-PCR tests of 92 suspects.

Meanwhile, the Special Task Force, by visiting different parts of the city, conducted 243 antigens tests and detected 50 Covid-19 patients, apart from 85 RT-PCR tests on suspects.

According to AMC data, GMCH conducted 33 RT-PCR tests; one RT-PCR tests by District Civil Hospital and 62 by private laboratories. Meanwhile, the private laboratories also conducted 60 antigens tests and detected five Covid-19 patients (including four from the areas out of the AMC limits), it stated. The AMC will receive the report of all RT-PCR tests tomorrow.
