Aurangabad, Jan 22:

The Aurangabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) health officials conducted 188 antigen and 1,157 RT-PCR tests (total 1,345 tests) at its COVID Care Centres (CCCs) and different places in the city and traced seven Covid-19 patients today.

The health teams conducted 78 antigen tests at the CCCs and detected two persons as infected. The AMC personnel also held 220 RT-PCR tests on the suspects. Meanwhile, the mobile teams, by visiting different parts of the city, have conducted 54 antigen tests and detected five Covid-19 patients. It also collected swab collection of 868 suspects for RT-PCR tests.

According to AMC data, the GMCH conducted six RT-PCR tests, and private laboratories performed 63, on Friday. The private laboratories also conducted 56 antigen tests and found no infected patients. The AMC will be receiving the reports of all RT-PCR tests tomorrow.
