Aurangabad, Jan 28:

The Aurangabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) health officials conducted 142 antigen and 821 RT-PCR tests (total 963 tests) at its COVID Care Centres (CCCs) and different places in the city and traced eight Covid-19 patients today.

The health teams conducted 46 antigen tests at the CCCs and detected three persons as infected. The AMC personnel also held 164 RT-PCR tests at the CCCs. Meanwhile, by visiting different parts of the city, the mobile teams have conducted 49 antigen tests and detected two Covid-19 patients. It also collected swab collection of 517 suspects for RT-PCR tests.

According to AMC data, the GMCH conducted eight RT-PCR tests, and private laboratories performed 132 on Thursday. The private laboratories also conducted 47 antigen tests and found three infected patients. The AMC will be receiving the reports of all RT-PCR tests tomorrow.
