Aurangabad, Feb 8:

The Aurangabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) health officials conducted 197 antigen and 702 RT-PCR tests (total 899 tests) at its COVID Care Centres (CCCs) and different places in the city and traced nine Covid-19 patients today.

The health teams conducted 106 antigen tests at the CCCs and detected two persons as infected. The AMC personnel also held 103 RT-PCR tests at the CCCs. Meanwhile, by visiting different parts of the city, the mobile teams have conducted 78 antigen tests and detected seven infected persons. It also collected swab collection of 495 suspects for RT-PCR tests.

According to AMC data, the GMCH conducted eight RT-PCR tests, and private laboratories performed 96 on Monday. The private laboratories also conducted 13 antigen tests and found no infected patient. The AMC will be receiving the reports of all RT-PCR tests tomorrow.
