Aurangabad, Oct 14:

The Aurangabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) health officials conducted 629 antigens and 350 RT-PCR tests (total 979 tests) at its COVID Care Centres (CCCs) and different places in the city and detected 90 Covid-19 patients today.

The health teams conducted 138 antigen tests at the CCCs and found 22 patients (including two from the non-AMC areas) suffering from Coronavirus disease. The AMC personnel also held RT-PCR tests of 72 suspects.

Meanwhile, the Special Task Force, by visiting different parts of the city, checked the health of citizens and collected swab samples. The teams today conducted 412 antigen tests and detected 55 Covid-19 patients, apart from 113 RT-PCR tests.

According to AMC data, 37 RT-PCR tests were done by Government Medical College and Hospital, two by District Civil Hospital and 126 by private laboratories. Meanwhile, the private laboratories also conducted 79 antigens tests and detected 13 Covid-19 patients (including the nine from the areas out of the AMC limits), it stated. The AMC will receive the report of all RT-PCR tests tomorrow.
