AMC detects 94 COVID patients on Friday

The Aurangabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) health officials conducted 647 antigens and 459 RT-PCR tests (total 1106 tests) at its COVID Care Centres (CCCs) and different places of the city and detected 94 Covid-19 patients today.

The health teams conducted 186 antigen tests at the CCCs and found 34 patients (including two hailing from the non-AMC areas) suffering from Coronavirus disease. The AMC personnel also held 129 RT-PCR tests here.

Meanwhile, the Special Task Force, by visiting different parts of the city, checked the health of citizens and collected swab samples. The teams today conducted 395 antigens tests and detected 52 Covid-19 patients, apart from 176 RT-PCR tests.

According to AMC data, 34 RT-PCR tests were done by Government Medical College and Hospital and 120 by private laboratories. The private labs also conducted 66 antigens tests and detected 08 Covid-19 patients, it stated. The AMC will receive the report of all RT-PCR tests tomorrow.
