Aurangabad, Jan 11:

The Aurangabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) health officials conducted 221 antigen and 739 RT-PCR tests (total 960 tests) at its COVID Care Centres (CCCs) and different places in the city and traced six Covid-19 patients today.

The health teams conducted 64 antigen tests at the CCCs and detected one Covid-19 patient on the spot. The AMC personnel also held 115 RT-PCR tests on the suspects. Meanwhile, by visiting different parts of the city, the mobile teams conducted 145 antigen tests and detected four Covid-19 patients. It also collected swab collection of 543 suspects for RT-PCR tests.

According to AMC data, the GMCH conducted eight RT-PCR tests, and private laboratories performed 73, on Monday. The private laboratories also conducted 12 antigen tests and found one Covid-19 infected patient. The AMC will be receiving the reports of all RT-PCR tests tomorrow.
