Aurangabad, Jan 29:

The Aurangabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) task force today visited various parts of the city to recover property tax and water tax dues. The officials sealed three properties in Deewan Deodi, Sambhaji Colony and Keli Bazaar when the property-owners failed to pay their tax dues. The task force also recovered tax of Rs 46.89 lakh from the property-holders in the above localities.

On the other hand, the AMC's Nagrik Mitra Pathak collected a fine amount of Rs 76.94 lakh from 15,389 irresponsible citizens for moving in public places without wearing face masks from April 1, 2020 to January 28, 2021. The squad imposed a fine of Rs 500 from each violator.
