The Aurangabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) has deployed 10 more teams to conduct a Covid test upon the persons roaming in the city without any valid reason from tomorrow. Hence 16 teams will be working in one shift to conduct the tests till May 31.
Earlier, the AMC administrator A K Pandey through his tweet has appealed to the citizens not to step out of their homes and roam in the city without any reason. Prefer to stay at home only. He had hinted at conducting compulsory tests on citizens if they are found roaming on the roads.
Presently, the tests are conducted by six teams in one shift and 10 more teams will start functioning from tomorrow.
Pandey underlined that it is necessary for the citizens to stay at home under the ' Break the Chain' and pointed out that there are drop-in patients, but the danger of the virus continues to linger. Hence be self-disciplined to defeat the virus and take care of the little children, he mentioned.
