Awareness on Covid-19 vaccine is need of the hour: MoH

Aurangabad, Jan 6:

A workshop to create awareness about the Covid-19 vaccine was organised by the Islamic Research Centre (IRC) and Al-Kitab Education Welfare Society, at Rohilla Galli, today. The municipal officer of health (MoH) Dr Neeta Padalkar guided the audience present on occasion, Adv Faiz Syed and Khaja Alimuddin also graced the function.

While addressing the audience, Dr Padalkar underlined that the civic health administration has geared up to implement the Covid vaccination programme for citizens'' welfare. The awareness drive regarding vaccine is launched to clear misunderstandings amongst the people as there are blind faiths amongst many communities regarding the vaccine.

The organisers also apprised the audience about dosages of vaccine, the need of registration and the schedule of vaccine etc. Aarti Tiwari and Munawwar Khan were also present on occasion.

Dry Run of Covid-19 vaccine on Jan 8

The AMC''s health section has organised a dry run to test the Covid-19 vaccine at its health centre situated in Cidco N-11 on January 8. The AMC has made all preparations to execute it. Later on, the vaccine will be administered through 122 vaccination centres in the city, said MoH Dr Padalkar.
