Aurangabad, March 23:

Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University (Bamu) has decided to call only 50 per cent of staff in all departments as part of precautionary measures for COVID.

The State Government has directed all the departments except health and emergency services to call 50 pc on duty on alternate days to contain the COVID spread.

The departments' heads will have to prepare the daily report of the attendance for sending it to the Government.

The registrar issued a circular recently stating that 50 pc should be called on duty on alternate days until further orders. Meanwhile, Bamu has also suspended using biometric attendance mode and has opted for a traditional attendance system.
