Aurangabad, May 6:

Former Shiv Sena mayor Nandkumar Ghodele celebrated his birthday with grandeur breaching the Corona guidelines. BJP city chief Sanjay Kenekar has demanded that a case should be registered against Ghodele.

Legislative Council opposition leader Pravin Darekar on May 4 staged agitation at Beed. The administration was compelled to register a case against this agitation. Then, when the former mayor is celebrating his birthday breaching the Corona guidelines, why the case is not registered. This is the misuse of power, stated Kenekar.

Meanwhile, Ghodele said the well-wishers gathered and I had to respond to their wishes. I had not planned and also appealed to the people that I will not celebrate my birthday and no one should convey wishes to me. However, some people came and celebrated on the road. I had no intention to breach the rules, he said.
