The maximum temperature in the city and surrounding areas was 36.2 degrees Celsius on Monday 17, while the minimum temperature was 16.2 degrees Celsius. The mercury had risen to 35.4 degrees Celsius on Saturday.
Citizens have to endure the scorching heat in February itself as the maximum temperature has increased by two degrees in two days. The weather has been hot during the day and cold at night since last week, causing diseases.
The city started feeling the heat in mid-February, with the temperature at 33.4 degrees Celsius on Friday. It increased by two degrees on Saturday.
The maximum temperature had reached 35.4 degrees Celsius. The temperature increased again within two days. Citizens were seen suffering from the scorching heat. The atmosphere is currently hot during the day and cool at night.
